    Additionally, this structural balsa wood core material is easy to bond when using any type of resin or adhesive. Balsa core also serves as a natural insulator, fire retardant and noise reduction material. Working with balsa wood is easy, as it can handle changes in temperature and is highly chemical resistant (including styrene). Our balsa wood core can also come with CoreLite's proprietary UV coating technologies to reduce resin absorption, increase bonding properties and protect it from environmental constraints.

    CoreLite also offers 2 advanced UV coating system to minimize resin uptake by up to 76% in comparison to uncoated balsa core.

  • A high-quality, but cost-effective closed-cell PVC foam specially formulated to provide high physical properties and be recyclable. Engineered for easy workability, weatherproof and insulation properties, and excellent fire behavior. It is characterized for its phenomenal screw retention and amazing resistance to moisture; it will not rot, mold or mildew. It is also compatible with multiple resins and adhesives. 

    CoreLite Board is a stand alone product and can be used without skins as a replacement for wood and plywood. CoreLite Board is 27% lighter than Plywood.

    This PVC foam board has excellent fastener pullout strength and high flexural strength and stiffness. It is also highly resistant to chemicals and temperature changes.

    CoreLite Board was engineered to meet the physical demands needed in transoms, attachment points, floors, bulkheads, stringers, local reinforcements, molds, and tooling.

    Engineered to meet the physical demands needed in high performance applications, including carrying static and dynamic loads. CoreLite PET can be used as a replacement for PVC foams and Honeycomb. It possesses excellent laminate-to-core bonding adhesion. 

    Resistance to fatigue is superior, as well as its chemically stability and UV resistance. Water absorption is minimal. Our CoreLite PET can handle processing temperatures up to 150 °C (302 °F).


    During high temperature processing it is thermally stable and no outgassing or expansion after post- cure occurs. In the event of fire, no toxic gases are generated.
