Iadys is a French start-up company created in 2016 by Nicolas Carlési, a young engineer graduated in robotics who practices sea-diving and cannot bear to see so much waste in the sea. His idea was to build a new small robot with a net attached that could take floating waste and iridescence of hydrocarbons out of the marinas waters. We called the robot « The Jellyfishbot ».

The Jellyfishbot removes floating waste with its attached net and hydrocarbons by introducing a sheet of absorbent material in the net.

It is teleoperated by an operator with a remote control.

The Jellyfishbot is already sold in France and ports authorities like Cassis and Cannes are using it since few months.
