Life Cell is an emergency flotation device for boats that keeps people together
in the water and stores all the essential safety equipment to ensure survival. It is highly visible with clear signage and is simple to use even for the novice boater. It is also designed to float off its mounting bracket in the event of a vessel sinking or capsizing.

Life Cells come in four sizes to suit all types of vessels from small aluminium boats to large commercial fishing vessels. The size of the Life Cell determines the buoyancy of the device and how many people it can assist in the water. Life Cells can assist between 2-8 people depending upon the model and will all hold mandatory safety equipment.

In January 2012, Life Cell Directors Scott Smiles & Rick Matthews and their two 11yo sons
were stranded at sea after their boat sank suddenly and without warning 10km off the coast
of Sydney. With only seconds to grab essential safety equipment they quickly found themselves clinging to a cooler in the open sea and in a catastrophic situation. It was this experience that inspired them to create Life Cell.
