The SMART TABS ProTroller series is a simple, economical solution for serious fishermen. ProTrollers incorporate the ability to transform SMART TABS into trolling brakes with the flip of a lever handle. In the retracted position, ProTrollers function as trim tabs. The system uses nitrogen gas actuators to automatically react to water pressure, speed and payload to improve acceleration, hole shot, ride and handling and reach the perfect fishing spot more quickly. In the deployed position, the plates create equal braking on both sides of the boat. This reduces trolling speed up to 35%, maintains steering control, eliminates prop restriction, improves fuel economy and promotes straight tracking. ProTrollers are available in stainless steel or rust-and-corrosion-free composite materials.
