Most of the U.S. require a boater education course for safe boating operation. However, they usually omit safety matters such as engine fumes, blowers, or how to properly fuel a boat. Studies reveal the majority of fires in boats start in a few very specific places aboard, most of them originating in the engine compartment where fuel and an ignition source have a high likelihood of coming together. Many inexperienced boat buyers do have proper training. Most are also not aware the fume sensors (assuming installed) have a limited life expectancy of 4years. Using aftermarket parts such as automobile starters and alternators as replacements for “Marine Grade Arc Fault Protected” OEM parts are another under reported issue.

Our product includes one assembly mounted in the engine compartment to greatly assist in reduction of boat fires involving gasoline fumes and sparks from engine components. Takes about 20-minutes to install; requires no extra materials, other than tie wraps. Has redundant sensors, redundant power, electrically failsafe, warns 30-days prior to fume sensor expiration, and has bypass feature in the event of equipment failure.
