Sentinel Domotics is an innovative ‘Big Data’ solution that allows users to remotely access any information available from the NMEA bus.

Users can view an extensive amount of useful data from a boat, including engine and power source parameters, transmission, water depth, wind, fluid levels and over 40 alarms.

Sentinel Domotics consists of 3 wireless products and is easy to retrofit on any boat. The Wi-Fi router and the NMEA gateway plug into a wall socket, and the W2K connects directly into the NMEA bus. All 3 products communicate seamlessly to collect important data from the NMEA network.

Sentinel Cam is an innovative and affordable low-power camera that can send high definition 1080p videos 24/7 on demand or in case of intrusion.

It is waterproof, low-power consumption (<400mA) and low data consumption (<100MB per month). It costs $599 with a subscription fee of $69 per year, with the first year included.

Sentinel Cam is a ‘plug & play’ product which is easy to set-up. It is 100% wireless and entirely managed through the YS Hub app, which should only take a few minutes. It can be powered by any type of power socket, or directly wired to the boat’s battery.

It works with both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G networks. Users can use their own sim card and estimated cost is less than $10 per month under normal usage.
